The day
Hours, the TV and the poster
-
Opening hours
Monday to Friday, 10 am to 4 pm; Saturday, 10 am to 2 pm; Sunday closed.
Add bank holidays and the second and fourth Saturdays as closed days well ahead. Anyone who booked a loan enquiry on those days is listed so you can cancel or keep each one.
-
TV display
The token being called and the counter to go to, for every line.
On the wall above the cash counters, facing the seating area.
-
QR poster
On the door and beside the token desk, so a customer can scan it from outside and take a place before reaching the guard.
Tips
-
Put the busiest line on two counters.
Cash 1 and Cash 2 both call from the Cash counter line, so the next token goes to whichever cashier is free. Pause a counter with a reason when a cashier steps away.
How it works → -
Let the door help add people who have no phone.
Give the person at the door the Front desk ability. They add a visit in a few taps and hand over a slip with a QR code, so the customer can follow their token from a chair.
How it works → -
Keep loans by booking.
A loan enquiry takes half an hour and the officer should not be surprised. Customers book a time for today or the next six days and press I am here on their phone when they arrive, and the officer sees them on the same board.
How it works → -
Watch the first week of the month.
Insights' Waits page, filtered to the Cash counter line, shows the average wait by the hour people joined. If salary days are heavy, open a second cash counter earlier on those days.
