The day

Hours, the TV and the poster

  • Opening hours

Monday to Saturday, 9:30 am to 5 pm; Sunday closed.

Add a closed day when the operators are at a training camp or the equipment is being serviced, and anyone who booked is listed so you can cancel or keep each booking.

  • TV display

The token being called and the desk to go to.

On the wall opposite the door, above the benches.

  • QR poster

On the shutter and at the front of the table, so people can scan before they sit.

Tips

  • Book the long jobs, take the short ones as walk-ins.

A new enrolment takes twenty minutes. Let it be booked for today or the next six days, and keep corrections and print-outs for walk-ins. A booked customer presses I am here on their phone when they arrive.

    How it works →
  • Say how many people are before them.

A customer sees their place in the line as a true number and the wait as an estimate. Tell them to trust the place and treat the time as a guide.

    How it works →
  • Pause the desk when the operator steps away.

When an operator has to leave the desk, pause it with a reason such as "Away" and a return time. The board shows when it should be back, and customers waiting see the delay in their estimate.
