A business you are visiting uses Line Me Up to run its queue. You take your place from your phone, see roughly how long the wait is, and then you can sit down or step outside — just keep the page handy and stay close enough to come back.

How it works

You take a place
Scan the poster or open the link you were given. Pick what you came for if asked, press Join and confirm your phone number with a one-time code.

You watch your place
The page shows how many people are ahead of you and roughly how long that is, and it updates on its own as the queue moves. Keep it open, or come back to it whenever you like.

You are called
Your page tells you when it is your turn. The bell on the page keeps a list of updates about your visit, and unless the place has turned it off, a heads-up appears there when only a few are ahead. Don't count on your phone ringing, so check the page as you get close. Show your page at the desk; if the place has a screen on the wall, your token appears there too.
The time is an estimate, not a promise. It is worked out from the services ahead of you and how many desks are serving. When nobody is serving the queue yet you will see your place and no time, rather than a guess.
No smartphone needed: ask at the desk and they can add you to the same queue and give you a token number. Available in eight languages, including हिन्दी, മലയാളം and தமிழ் — choose yours before you sign in.
What it costs you
Nothing. Line Me Up is free for you.
You never pay Line Me Up — not to join a queue, not to book a time, not for the page you watch. The business pays us to run its queue. Whatever the business charges you for its own service is between you and them. No card needed.
If anyone asks you to pay to hold a place, it is not us.

- What joining does not ask for
- No address and no ID card.
- What you give us
- Your phone number, so the place is tied to you and you can get back to it. The business can see it, as if you had given it at the counter, but not where else you have queued. Line Me Up does not sell it or use it for advertising. A name is optional; a token number works just as well.
- What other customers see
- Nothing. Not your name, not your number, not that you are there. You see how many people are ahead of you — “3 people ahead” — and that is a count, never a list of people.
- If you delete your account
- Your name and number are removed. The business keeps a record that it served someone that day, without your name.
Leaving
How to get out of a queue.
Leave the queue
Open your ticket and give up your place — it takes two taps, so a stray tap does nothing. Once you have been called, talk to the desk instead.
Running late
If you are not ready, tell the desk from your ticket that you are running 5, 10 or 15 minutes late, up to twice a visit. Your place is kept.
If you miss your turn
Go to the desk. They can call you again. Each place decides how long it holds a called place; after that your ticket may say Not arrived, and you can ask at the desk or join again.
Stop using Line Me Up
Delete your account at any time. The customer terms say what that removes.

See the wait before you go
How many are waiting at each place, and a rough wait such as “about 15 min” when people are waiting.

Share with family
A private link opens on any phone with no account and never shows your name. Anyone with it can also give up your place, and a sent link cannot be taken back, so share it only with people you trust.
