What changed: Five plans — Free, Basic, Standard, Pro and Premium — billed yearly or monthly, each with its own rate past the allowance; free trials of the paid plans; Enterprise withdrawn.
These apply to you if you run a queue with Line Me Up. They cover what you pay us and what you take on by handling your customers' data through us.
What you get
A virtual queue for your business: lines, desks, a board your staff work from, a QR code your customers scan, and the record of what happened.
Line Me Up is a subscription service you pay for. Your customers are never charged — joining a queue, booking a time and using the app are free for them.
Each plan includes a number of visits a month. A visit is one customer getting a place at your business: a walk-in who joins from your QR code or link, a customer your desk adds, or a booked time. Each place taken counts as one visit.
| Plan | A month, billed yearly | A month, billed monthly | Visits a month |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | ₹0 | ₹0 | 300 |
| Basic | ₹999 | ₹1,199 | 1,000 |
| Standard | ₹1,999 | ₹2,399 | 3,000 |
| Pro | ₹3,499 | ₹4,199 | 7,000 |
| Premium | ₹9,999 | ₹11,999 | 30,000 |
Free includes 300 visits a month, 3 line and 3 desks; Basic 10 lines and 5 desks, Standard 30 lines and 15 desks and Pro 60 lines and 30 desks; Premium Unlimited lines and any number of desks, for one location. A business that needs more lines or desks than its plan includes is expected to move to a larger one.
Free does not expire and needs no card. On every plan your business can be listed in the directory, if you switch it on. Every paid plan includes appointment booking.
Visits beyond your plan
On the paid plans, visits beyond your plan's allowance are charged pay as you go, per visit, at your plan's rate: ₹1 on Basic, ₹0.75 on Standard, ₹0.60 on Pro and ₹0.40 on Premium. You can move to a larger plan instead.
Free has no pay-as-you-go. Free includes 300 visits a month; beyond that, a Free business is expected to move to a paid plan.
Unused visits do not carry over to the next month.
All prices exclude GST at 18%. With GST, a month billed yearly is ₹1,179 on Basic, ₹2,359 on Standard, ₹4,129 on Pro, ₹11,799 on Premium; billed monthly it is ₹1,415 on Basic, ₹2,831 on Standard, ₹4,955 on Pro, ₹14,159 on Premium. A pay-as-you-go visit is ₹1.18 on Basic, ₹0.89 on Standard, ₹0.71 on Pro and ₹0.47 on Premium. Paid plans are billed with GST.
Billing
A paid plan is billed yearly or monthly, in advance, as you choose. A yearly plan is paid for the year and costs less than twelve months billed monthly. You can move up a plan at any time; a move down takes effect when the period you have paid for ends. Visits past the allowance are billed for the month they happen in. If a payment fails we will tell you before anything stops working.
You can try a paid plan free before you pay for it: Basic, Standard and Pro for 14 days and Premium for 30 days, with no card. A trial is switched on when you ask us for one. When it ends your business moves to the plan you choose to pay for, or to Free.
Money only moves one way: you pay Line Me Up. There is no revenue share, no credit paid back to you, and nothing is paid out to you at any point. Line Me Up does not collect money from your customers or on your behalf, and these terms do not make us your payment agent.
If you stop paying, your account moves to Free rather than being deleted. Free's terms then apply — 3 line and 300 visits a month — and your history stays.
Your customers' data
Your customers' details reach you through Line Me Up. Line Me Up is the data fiduciary for that data and you are a recipient of it, for the purpose of serving the person in front of you.
You agree that you will:
- use customer details only to serve that customer's visit;
- keep your own records: you may export your visits to a spreadsheet for your own accounts and care;
- not sell those details, pass them to anyone else, or use them to advertise to people who queued with you;
- keep your staff accounts to actual staff, and remove people who leave;
- tell us promptly if you believe customer data has been exposed.
You see only your own customers: what they gave you or your desk recorded (name, phone, the service they chose, your file number and notes), their place in your queue, and the history of their visits with you in Visits and Insights. You do not see anything about their use of any other business.
Running your queue
How you order your queue is your decision, and we do not interfere with it. But you agree not to use Line Me Up to:
- charge customers for a place in the queue;
- sell priority in a queue;
- hold places for people who are not real.
The last one matters because your bill counts visits, and so do the numbers you and we rely on. Filling a queue with places that nobody took is abuse of the service, and we will close the account.
Availability
We aim to keep Line Me Up running and we do not promise it never fails. If the connection drops for a moment, the desk can still mark someone as here, complete or a no-show, as long as nobody reloads the page; calling the next person waits until it is back. If Line Me Up itself is down, your queue is a notebook again for a while.
Our responsibility for an outage is limited to what you paid us for the period affected. We are not responsible for lost custom, lost time, or anything that follows.
Cancelling
You can cancel at any time and you will not be billed again for a plan, though pay-as-you-go visits already taken are still billed. We do not refund a period already billed. Your data stays available for a period after cancellation so you can get it out; ask and we will export it.
Changes
If we change these terms or our prices we will tell you before the change takes effect, and you can cancel rather than accept it.
