The day
Hours, the TV and the poster
-
Opening hours
Monday to Saturday, 9 am to 8 pm; Sunday closed.
Close the days the doctor is at a conference. Parents who booked those days are listed so you can cancel or keep each one.
-
TV display
The token being called and the room to go to.
In the waiting room, at a height where a parent holding a child can see it.
-
QR poster
At the reception and the clinic door, so parents can take a place from the car before bringing a sick child inside.
Tips
-
Take a place from the car.
A parent scans the poster in the car park and sees their page. They bring the child inside when their turn is near.
How it works → -
Put a very young infant ahead.
The Urgent ability lets the receptionist move a feverish newborn above the line, and the doctors see a banner.
How it works → -
Going to the ward? Pause with a reason.
Pause Doctor 1 with "Rounds" and a return time. The team sees "On rounds · back ~12:30", and waiting parents' estimates allow for it.
How it works → -
Book the well-baby checks.
Newborn and growth checks are predictable, so they are bookings and the sick-child line stays for walk-ins. A parent presses I am here on arrival, or the receptionist, with the Front desk ability, checks them in.
