Runs a bay on a phone clipped to the workbench and calls the next vehicle.

  • Helper Staff

Adds a rider at the counter, hands over a token slip and moves vehicles out of the way.

The day

Hours, the TV and the poster

  • Opening hours

Monday to Saturday, 9 am to 7 pm; Sunday, 9 am to 2 pm.

Add festival days such as Diwali week as closed days, or special days with shorter hours. Riders who open the page see the day is closed before they ride across.

  • TV display

The token being called and the bay to take the vehicle to.

On the wall above the waiting bench, facing the street, so riders outside can read it.

  • QR poster

On the shutter and the post at the entrance, so a rider can take a place from the saddle before parking.

Tips

  • Keep the ten-minute jobs in a line of their own.

Bay 1 calls from Quick jobs and Service and repair. A puncture does not sit behind a full service, and when Quick jobs is empty Bay 1 serves the other line.

    How it works →
  • Tell the rider how long a service takes.

Set minutes on each service. The rider's page shows an estimated wait as a range, and the shop stops answering 'how long' forty times a day.

    How it works →
  • Add a rider at the counter in a few seconds.

The helper adds a rider, name and phone optional, and hands a slip with a QR. The rider can leave for a tea and watch the page.

    How it works →
  • Call again before marking a no-show.

Riders step out to buy a part. Call again shows the token once more on the TV and the page, and moves no one else.
