  • Owner Owner

Sets up the lines, the chargers and the hours, and reads which hours the fast chargers are full.

  • Charging attendant × 2 Staff

Runs every charger from one phone, checks in a booked driver who has not pressed I am here, calls the next car when a charger frees and adds a driver who arrives without a token.

    Ticked: Front desk, Urgent

The day

Hours, the TV and the poster

  • Opening hours

Every day, 6 am to 11 pm.

Add the days the electricity board has a scheduled shutdown, or the chargers are serviced, as closed days. Drivers who booked a slot on those days are listed so you can cancel or keep each one.

  • TV display

The token being called and the charger to pull up to.

In the café or lounge beside the chargers, where drivers sit while they wait.

  • QR poster

On the board at the entrance to the lot and on each charger's pillar, so a driver can take a place or book a slot without getting out of the car.

Tips

  • Let drivers book a charging slot.

Both lines take bookings up to seven days ahead as well as walk-ins. A booked time holds one car for each charger on the line, and the driver is reminded in the app's inbox the evening before and an hour before. On arrival the driver presses I am here, or the attendant checks them in; a booking nobody checks in is given up once the late window passes.

    How it works →
  • Run every charger from one phone.

Give the attendants the Run desks and Front desk abilities: they stay staff, and one can run all five chargers from Desks you run on the Waitlist on one device, check a booked driver in, and when a car unplugs, call the next token to that charger in one tap.

    How it works →
  • Give fast and slow charging their own lines.

A fast top-up should not wait behind a three-hour slow charge. Each charger calls only from its own line, so the wait each driver sees is for the kind of charger they chose.

    How it works →
  • Pause a charger that has faulted.

Take a break with the reason "Other" and a return time. Waiting drivers see that their wait is longer, not why, and the other chargers keep calling.

    How it works →
  • Line Me Up keeps the order, not the power.

It does not switch a charger on or off and does not bill for energy. The driver starts and pays for the charge on the charger or its own app, as before.
