Team

  • Controller of examinations Owner

Sets up the line for the exam days and sees that the hours match the paper timings.

  • Invigilator × 2 Staff

Checks the hall ticket against the ID and calls the next candidate.

    Ticked: Front desk

The day

Hours, the TV and the poster

  • Opening hours

Monday to Saturday, 7:30 am to 1 pm; Sunday closed.

Open on exam Sundays by giving that date its own hours, and close it on the day after the last paper. The week's special days sit in one list.

  • TV display

The token being called and the table to go to.

On a wall facing the entrance hall, above the candidates' bags.

  • QR poster

At the gate and on the notice board outside the hall, so candidates can take a place while they are still walking in.

Tips

  • Give corrections their own longer times.

Corrections and the duplicate hall ticket are separate services with longer times, so the wait estimate for the quick checks is not stretched by them.

    How it works →
  • Use priority for a candidate close to the cut-off.

Invigilators with the Front desk ability can mark a candidate as priority while adding them at the table, when their paper is about to start, so the next free table calls them first.

    How it works →
  • Print the QR code on exam-day signboards.

The poster comes as a PDF and the code on its own as an SVG, for a signboard of any size. One QR leads to the line. Candidates follow their place on their own phone and can leave the gate clear.

    How it works →
  • Export the day's visits when the paper starts.

Visits lists everyone verified, with the time and the table, and can be downloaded as a CSV file for the examination section's records.
