  • Counter staff × 4 Staff

Collects or sells tickets at a counter and calls the next person.

  • Entry coordinator Staff

Runs the Groups table and puts a visitor who cannot wait in the crowd above everyone.

    Ticked: Urgent

  • Volunteer × 2 Staff

Stands at the entrance with the QR poster and adds people without phones at the Help desk.

The day

Hours, the TV and the poster

  • Opening hours

Every day, 10 am to 9 pm during the event; set to the event's dates.

Close the box office on the days between events, and give the opening day its own hours: an earlier start for collection.

  • TV display × 2

The token being called and the counter to go to, for each line.

One above the counters, and one in the open area outside, facing the crowd that has not reached the door.

  • QR poster

At the entrance, on the barricade and on the ticket confirmation message, so the crowd takes a place before they reach the counters.

Tips

  • Put a visitor who cannot wait above everyone.

With the Above everyone ability, the entry coordinator can put someone who cannot stand in the crowd, such as a person who is unwell, first in one tap, and the desks get a banner and a short chime. Keep it for the rare case.

    How it works →
  • Let one counter do two jobs.

Counter 2 serves Ticket collection and Counter sales. As the crowd shifts from one to the other, use Calls from on the Live Board to change how it shares its calls.

    How it works →
  • Put a second TV outside.

A second screen in the open area shows the same calls to people who have not reached the door yet. Each screen is paired from a code.

    How it works →
  • Watch the Live Board on the first hour.

It shows each line's waiting count and flags a line that no desk on shift covers. Open another counter before the crowd notices.

    How it works →
  • Give opening day its own hours.

Set the opening day as a special day with an earlier start. The rest of the run keeps its normal hours.
