Team

  • Owner and senior stylist Owner

Takes Chair 1, sets the menu and its times, and checks Insights each Monday.

  • Salon manager Manager

Runs the Live Board on weekends, checks in a booked colour client who has not pressed I am here, calls them to the next free chair from the Waitlist and records leave.

  • Stylist × 3 Staff

Calls the next client to a chair and sends colour clients to the shampoo basin with Send to.

  • Beautician Staff

Runs the Skin room for facials, threading and waxing.

  • Shampoo assistant Staff

Calls the next client to the basin; completing the rinse sends them back to their stylist.

  • Receptionist Staff

Adds walk-ins at the counter and hands out QR slips.

    Ticked: Front desk

Visits with several steps

  • Colour, wash, finish

When the colour has set, the stylist sends the client to the shampoo basin; after the rinse they come back to that stylist to be finished, ahead of new arrivals.

    2. Back to whoever sent them

The day

Hours, the TV and the poster

  • Opening hours

Monday to Sunday, 10 am to 8:30 pm.

Close the salon for the day on Holi and Diwali, and set shorter hours on the eve of a wedding season weekend. Clients who had booked a closed day are listed so you can cancel or keep each one.

  • TV display

The token being called and the chair or room to go to.

Over the reception counter, facing the sofa, so clients waiting with their phones can glance up.

  • QR poster

On the glass door and beside the price board, so a walk-in can scan it before reaching the counter.

Tips

  • Send colour clients on without losing them.

With a process on Wash and rinse, a stylist sends the client to the basin and they come back to the same stylist, ahead of new arrivals.

    How it works →
  • Share chairs across lines.

Chairs 1 and 2 serve both Hair and Colour, so on a quiet afternoon the same stylist takes walk-ins and booked colour without a second login. A colour booking is called only once the client has pressed I am here on their phone or the salon manager or the receptionist, with the Front desk ability, has checked them in.

    How it works →
  • To let clients pick their stylist, give each stylist a line.

Hair gives the client whichever chair is free. If clients should choose, make a line per stylist, such as Hair with Priya, served only by Priya's chair, so a place or a booking on it can only go to her. Each stylist then has a line of their own, so four stylists take four lines instead of one, and a client waiting for Priya is not called by a stylist who is free.

    How it works →
  • Let the receptionist add walk-ins.

Give the receptionist Front desk. She can add walk-ins at the counter and tick priority as she adds someone who needs it.

    How it works →
  • Record leave before festivals.

Mark a stylist away on their profile. Bookings are trimmed to who is in and affected clients are listed.

    How it works →
  • Read the busy hours after a month.

Insights shows when waits climb. Move your senior stylist's lunch to the quiet hour.
