The day

Hours, the TV and the poster

  • Opening hours

Wednesday to Monday, 10 am to 9 pm; Tuesday closed.

Mark Diwali week, Eid and the owner's village trips as closed days ahead of time, so the page the poster opens says the shop is shut and nobody joins a line nobody will call.

  • TV display

The token being called and the chair to go to.

Above the waiting bench, so customers can see it from the pavement through the glass.

  • QR poster

On the shop door and beside the mirror at Chair 1, so a customer scans it, joins and goes for tea.

Tips

  • Let people wait outside.

Customers see their place and an estimated wait on their own phone, so a Sunday rush no longer needs a crowded bench. Put the poster on the glass.

    How it works →
  • Use Call again before skipping someone.

A customer who stepped out for a smoke gets the call shown once more on the screen and their phone, without losing the next person's turn.

    How it works →
  • Put real minutes on the menu.

A skin fade takes longer than a kids' cut. With a time on each service the wait a customer sees is fairer than one average for everything.

    How it works →
  • Take a break with a reason.

Pause Chair 2 with "Meal" and a return time. The team sees "On a meal break · back ~2:30 pm", and waiting customers' estimates allow for it rather than a line that has quietly stopped.

    How it works →
  • Close a day with one change.

Add the closed day to your hours once. Nobody can join from their phone that day, and the page shows your note.
