Tattoo studio

For a tattoo studio where a walk-in wants a quote, a regular has a four-hour session booked and a piercing takes ten minutes, all sharing one door.

Visits with several steps

  • Consult, then ink or pierce

After the design discussion the artist chooses where the client goes next: a small tattoo today, a piercing today, or home to think.

The day

Hours, the TV and the poster

  • Opening hours

Monday to Saturday, 12 noon to 9 pm; Sunday closed.

Close for conventions and guest-artist weeks. Clients booked on a closed day are listed so you can cancel or keep each one, or move a long session with Reschedule on the Waitlist.

  • TV display

The token being called and the room or station to go to.

Above the sofa in the lobby, where clients wait while looking at the flash designs.

  • QR poster

On the front door and at the counter, so walk-ins take a place before they reach the artist.

Tips

  • Keep long sessions off the walk-in line.

A sleeve takes four hours. On its own booking line it cannot hold up a ten-minute piercing.

    How it works →
  • Let the artist decide the next step.

After a design talk the artist taps the option, so the client is sent to the right line without joining a new one at the counter.

    How it works →
  • Say how long, honestly.

Put the real minutes on each size. A client booking a medium piece sees how long to set aside, and presses I am here when they arrive, or the owner checks them in; a session nobody checks in is not called.

    How it works →
  • Take a break between clients.

Pause an artist station with a reason and a return time, so the next client is not called to a chair that is being cleaned.
