The day
Hours, the TV and the poster
-
Opening hours
Monday to Saturday, 10 am to 8:30 pm; Sunday closed.
Close on the master's days away and public holidays. In the weeks before wedding season, bring the closing time forward only for the days you really stop taking garments.
-
TV display
The token being called and the table or counter to go to.
On the wall beside the fabric rolls, where customers waiting for a trial can see it.
-
QR poster
On the door and on the receiving counter, with a line asking people to book a trial.
Tips
-
Book the long jobs, not the drop-offs.
Measurements and trials are bookings, so the master is never caught with three suits at once. Drop-offs stay walk-in because they take five minutes. A booked customer presses I am here on arrival, or the master checks them in on the Waitlist.
How it works → -
Give each measurement its own length.
A sherwani takes 40 minutes and a shirt 20. With a time on each service, the wait estimate and the booking slot both follow it.
How it works → -
Let the counter help at the measuring table.
The Receiving counter calls from both lines. In the quiet hours the helper takes a trial, and in the evening rush they stay on drop-offs.
How it works → -
Use priority for a garment promised today.
The counter helper has the Front desk ability, so a customer collecting a wedding outfit due at noon can be marked priority as the helper adds them, and called before the others.
