The day

Hours, the TV and the poster

  • Opening hours

Monday to Saturday, 10:30 am to 8:30 pm; Sunday, 11 am to 6 pm.

Close the shop on public holidays; bookings already made on those days are listed so you can cancel or keep each one. Record the optometrist's days away as leave instead, so the shop stays open for frames and collections.

  • TV display

The token being called and the room or table to go to.

Near the frames display, where people browsing can still see their turn.

  • QR poster

On the shop window and on the Billing counter, so a passer-by can book an eye test or take a place for a repair.

Tips

  • Book eye tests, let the rest walk in.

Make Eye test a bookings line and keep Frames and lenses open to both. A booked slot protects the optometrist's time while repairs wait their turn. A booked customer presses I am here on arrival, or the owner checks them in on the Waitlist.

    How it works →
  • Give a child's test a longer time.

Child eye test has its own 25 minutes, so a booking for it takes a longer slot than an adult test.

    How it works →
  • One desk can serve two lines.

The Billing counter calls from Collection and from Frames and lenses, so the sales associate is never idle when one of them is empty.

    How it works →
  • Record the optometrist's days away.

Put the days they are away on their profile. Eye test bookings are trimmed to the days they are in, and bookings already made on those days are listed for you to cancel or keep.
