The day

Hours, the TV and the poster

  • Opening hours

Monday to Saturday, 9:30 am to 7:30 pm; Sunday closed.

The pick-up cut-off is the real closing time. Set the shop's hours to it, and add public holidays as closed days so no one scans the poster to find nobody there.

  • TV display

The token being called and the counter to go to, for every line.

On the wall facing the waiting bench, visible from the door.

  • QR poster

On the glass door, with a line for collecting, so those picking up a held parcel need not stand at the counter first.

Tips

  • Keep collecting apart from sending.

A three-minute hand-over should not wait behind a weigh-and-label. Booking counter 1 calls from both lines, sharing its calls between them and skipping one that is empty.

    How it works →
  • Let sellers book their bulk drop.

Business bookings is a bookings-only line, so a seller with forty parcels has a slot and the counters are not blocked. The seller presses I am here on arrival, or the owner checks them in.

    How it works →
  • Give documents their own short time.

A document or letter takes three minutes. Because each service has its own time, the wait estimate counts three minutes for each document ahead, not the average parcel.

    How it works →
  • Use the QR slip for people without phones.

The clerk adds the person at the counter and hands over a slip with a QR so they can follow their place.
